How to play Ghost Leg online
- Set the number of players and type names and outcomes. Blank fields fall back to numbers.

- Who pays for lunch: one “Pays”, everyone else “Safe”.
- Chores or shifts: put tasks or weekdays as outcomes and assign them all at once.
- Turn order: outcomes 1, 2, 3… for presentations or games.
- Splitting teams: half “Team A”, half “Team B”.

What is Ghost Leg (amidakuji)?
Ghost Leg is a lottery drawn as a ladder: vertical lines for each player, random horizontal rungs between them. Follow your line down, turning whenever you hit a rung, and you land on exactly one outcome. It’s called amidakuji in Japan and sadari-tagi in Korea.
Is the result really random?
Yes. Rung positions come from a seed drawn with your browser’s cryptographic random generator (crypto.getRandomValues), so nobody — including us — can predict the outcome. “Shuffle” draws a brand-new ladder.
Can two players get the same outcome?
No. A ladder always maps each top line to a different bottom line, so outcomes are paired one-to-one. If you want several winners, type the same outcome in several slots.
How many players can play?
From 2 to 12. With many players, turning your phone sideways gives names more room.
Can I hide the outcomes until the end?
Outcomes at the bottom stay hidden as “?” until someone’s path reaches them, so you can reveal players one by one.
How do I share the results?
Tap “Copy results” to copy a “name → outcome” list you can paste into any chat.
